Grand Canyon formed by Colorado River, is the amazing gorge in the world. It is located in state of Arizona, United States cutting through Grand Canyon national park. It is believed to be 6 million year old. 

What is world Heritage listing and why it is important?

In 1972 many countries united to form World heritage Convention. It was a way to protect their cultural or natural places so their future generations may enjoy them as we do now. It is now manage by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO).
