Kakadu National Park, located in the northern territory, Australia, has been inhabited for more than 40,000 years. The park is within the Alligator Rivers Region of Northern Territory.  ​

why it place on World Heriatage Listing? And what makes it unique?

Kakadu’s art sites shows a unique artistic skill and a wide range of styles. It shows the skill of aboriginal people and the delicate art they have made through the hunter-gatherers of prehistoric time to this day. The rock art and archaeological record is an example of social and ritual activities related to hunting and gathering traditions of indigenous people.
